Appraisal templates are highly configurable and the following is basic introduction to the options available. Please contact support if you have further questions or requirements.
Creating Appraisal Template
The appraisal template has a name & type of period it covers (eg for annual or quarterly appraisals)
The template is built up from sections, each section has a title and contains the different elements
The different elements supported are
Info Panel
Contains a rich text section which will be shown on every appraisal using the template
Questions
These are the fields that the manager & report need to fill in - the different questions are described in Appraisal Template Question Types
OKR, Initiative & KPI Sections
The Report or Manager can select multiple OKRs, Initiatives or KPIs to be included in the appraisal. See Using OKRs, Initiatives & KPIs in Appraisals
A separate section type needs to be used for Personal OKRs
Feedback
The setup requires one or more Feedback Templates to picked and then the Manager or Report can use them to request feedback as part of the appraisal
Anytime Feedback
Will contain all the Anytime Feedback the report has received during the duration covered by the appraisal
Manager / Report Dual Entry
Special section that requires the Manager and Report to separately complete the same question - see Using the Dual Report / Manager section in Appraisals
Ordering
The order of the sections can be changed by using the Move Up / Move Down actions
The order of elements in a section can be changed by dragging them
Elements cannot be moved between section
Label
Each template also has a Label field which will be used & displayed in the app rather than the template name.
In Use & Publishing
New templates and any later changes need to be published before they will be used in any new appraisals. Also there is an In Use flag to control which templates are currently available.
