If it has not already been created, create the appraisal by picking the template to use and if needed change the period (eg switch from this quarter to the previous quarter)
The content of the appraisal will depend on how your organisation has set them up but can include
- Questions with text, dropdown or checkbox answers
- Sections to upload documents - see Uploading documents in an appraisal
- OKRs, Initiatives & KPIs - see Using OKRs, Initiatives & KPIs in Appraisals
- Anytime Feedback - see Giving & receiving Anytime Feedback
- Requested Feedback - see Requested Feedback for an Appraisal
Question
- can be setup to be completed by the report, the manager or either of them
- can be marked as Mandatory and these must be completed before the Appraisal can be marked as completed
The Appraisal has three states
- Draft
- Ready (usually used to indicate the Report has completed their sections)
- Completed
