The advanced view gives you access to a lot more options when creating Key Results
Type
First you have to select the type of Key Result you want to use
- Percentage Complete
- This is a 0% to 100% Key Result where you will update the % Progress as you go.

- Simple From / To
- This is a simple way to write a Key Result and measure progress. Choose a Unit (Numeric / Currency / Percentage), From and To and you’re done. Simple add your latest value to update Key Result progress.

- Single Task
- For Key Results that are a task that is either Completed or Not Completed

- Milestones
- Set a % for specific Milestones e.g. 50% = Options Evaluated, 75% = Recommendation Made. Then achieve Milestones to progress the Key Result.

- Automatically Updated KPIs
- Create KPIs from Integrations. Key Result progress will automatically update based on the data that comes from the integration source.

- Manually Updated KPI
- These are the KPIs that have been set-up and are updated weekly or monthly by users.

- Progress from Child OKRs
- These calculate their progress based on their Child OKRs

- Progress from linked To-dos / Initiatives
- These calculate their progress based on the linked To-dos / Initiatives

- Work completed in Trello, Asana, JIRA, Monday, Todoist, Hive, Azure DevOps Tasks
- These calculate progress based on the number of completed tasks in a Board, Project, or Epic.

- Value from a spreadsheet
- These calculate progress based on latest value from a single cell in a Google Sheet or Office 365 Excel document

Depending on which type you select you will get different flows.
The Pillars, Due Date, Difficulty and Notes can be changed in the right pane for all types.
Simple From / To
First fill in the Key Result Name and select the unit you are measuring (Numeric / Currency / Percentage). Then fill in what you are trying to do, set the target & start values, change the owner if needed and Save.
Percentage Complete
For this type all you need to do is add the Key Result Name and Save
Milestones
You can add as many milestones as needed and name the Key Result before Saving
